This is our first look at Nissan’s new Golf GTI rivaling Pulsar Nismo after the hot hatch was spied at the Nurburgring during an official Nissan photoshoot. Later this week the Japanese manufacturer is expected to give us all of the details on the latest Nismo model at the Paris Motor Show.


Despite the grainy image, it’s clear the rather ordinary looking Pulsar has been transformed into a pumped-up hot hatch. An aggressive bodykit, darkened alloy wheels and trademark red exterior detailing signify the Nismo treatment. Other exterior tweaks will include a more aggressive rear end and sports exhaust.


But Nissan won’t just dress the Pulsar Nismo with cosmetic tweaks. Under the skin Nissan will extract maximum performance from the 1.6-litre four cylinder turbo engine, with around 247bhp expected from the Pulsar Nismo. To ensure the Japanese manufacturer doesn’t fall behind in the hot hatch power stakes, a more potent 275bhp Nismo RS model is also just around the corner.


Mechanical upgrades such as a limited slip differential and firmer suspension setup will help the Pulsar cope with the added performance. Bigger brakes for improved stopping power and hip-hugging sports seat are also likely additions.


With rivals such as the VW Golf GTI, SEAT Leon Curpa and Renaultsport Megane in sight, the Pulsar Nismo is also expected to substantially undercut rivals on purchase price. Full details will be revealed following its debut at the Paris Motor Show.

Nissan have introduced the IDx concept cars  (Freeflow and NISMO) at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show for entry-level sports car. But compare to Toyota, Subaru and Scion who teaming up to produce the BRZ/ GT-86/FR-S, Nissan had problem to find other car makers to co-develop it as reported by AutoEvolution.

Finding other parties to join develop the platform is common nowadays since a new car platform would involve a lot of money for a single company to absorb it.


The Nissan IDx is said to be the replacement for Nissan/ Datsun 510. The 510 is said to be one of the best car for new entry level segment for people in 60's and 70's who would like to have a sports car with smaller budget. It is now one of the most popular car among classic car enthusiast after Skyline GT2000.

If Nissan still want to proceed on its own, they have to sell 50,000 units car per year to cover the investment cost and it is unlikely to happen.

But if Nissan able to convince company like Proton, Tata and China car makers to join develop it, the IDx can be realized since there are strong market for entry level in those countries. Nissan has revealed the updated 370z Nismo for 2015 inspired by GTR. The company surprised the ZDAYS's enthusiast which were happening this year in North Carolina.

Before these, current top speed record was hold by Bentley Supersports Convertible (driven by Juha Kankkunen). Skyline GT-R R35 are well known for its superb handling and it has ambitious aim, Nissan Rusia with association with Lav Production have taken these 3.8L with 540hp into its limit.

No modification have been done, including its all 4 tires. It is a straight line track on a frozen Lake Baikal (You can see through the track!).


Just for your information, it is very hard enough to drive on slippery road with normal speed. But to drive it on ice with aim to break a new top speed ... in a normal car, you can just easily lost control of the cars and roll over. With Skyline GT-R, it is a well equip performance car. It has an all wheel drive system which able to transmit all its power and control the car perfectly in different type of environment. They have successfully breaking the record with a top speed of 294.8 km/h. So, if you are Skyline owner or Skyline fan, we can proud of it

Reported by MotorWard.com, the ‘R’ emblem on its back is not just “something nice to see”. These Juke have been heavily modified both on its exterior, interior and of course its engine.

Start from its engine, the old engine have been taken off replace with a Skyline GT-R R35 bi-turbo V6 which produce 480hp.

With a new engine, all Juke interior also need to be customize. If you can see most of the instrument part like meters and center LCD console are from the R35. Also there are no longer back seats for these Juke since it is been replaced with a roll cage.

Move to exterior part, changes can be seen on its front and rear bumpers, new side skirts and widen wheel fenders on all side of these Juke finished with black mate gloss paint.

All its wheels and braking system are taken directly from the GT-R but it is believed its been modified to suite the AWD system from the GT-R fit into these city cars.

These Juke are not meant for production. Only 2 model been made. One is for the right hand side driver and another one for the left hand side.
