Reported by Autoblog.com, Volkswagen have unveil their latest Beetle Convertible. To come out new with something used to be love by so many people,  the convertible try to retain its design cues as much as possible such as body color dashboard and stylish gauge and trim.

As you can see, there are no roll over bars that we used to see other convertible cars. This is because it will only pop out from the back bench activated by computers if a collision happen. I like these features since the car will look classic but not sacrifice the safety of the driver and its passenger when the car roll over

There are 2.5L with 170 hp, 2.0L turbo charged with 200 hp and 2.0L diesel engine with 140 hp available for US market.
