2014 Renault Megane R.S. 265 Sport Facelift

Priced at RM199, 999 (OTR without insurance), this Sport chassis version comes here as a more everyday-friendly variant of the hot Megane, compared to the more track-oriented Cup and Trophy versions we’ve had lately.
Almost all changes on the 2014 Megane R.S. facelift are purely within the styling department. The front fascia has been updated to feature the French marque’s latest corporate face, with new headlights, a tweaked bumper, a restyled hood and a new gloss black grille with enlarged Renault logo making an appearance.
Under the hood is a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-pot that is carried over from the outgoing model. Power output remains the same at 265hp at 5,500rpm and 360Nm of torque at 3,000rpm. A six-speed manual transmission does the job of sending all the power to the front wheels.
The refreshed French hot hatch is capable of doing its century sprint in six seconds, before topping off at 250km/h.
