Famous Porsche tuner, TECHART, has announced their signature Power Kits for the latest Porsche 911 Turbo. Previously, these kits were only available for the Turbo S models, leaving standard Turbo owners out of the fun. TECHART also announced that it will be offering forged centerlock wheels available for the Turbo, Turbo S, and GT3 models as well, which will pair great with the exterior and interior upgrades offered by the tuner.
The Power Package uses the Intelligent TECHART Power Kit TA management system, "TECHTRONIC", and using the Sport or Sport Plus button, owners will be able to add up to 60hp to their Turbo 911. That would bring the standard Turbo from 520hp to 580hp and the Turbo S up to 620hp from the factory 560hp.
This results in a 0-62 mph in 3 seconds flat and a top speed of 202mph for the standard model and 2.9 seconds short spring with 204mph on the high end for the S version. Both these cars stock are immensely fun and fast as is, and a Power Package equipped sample would be a big risk to the license of any driver.
The best part about the Power Package upgrade is the installation is extremely easy and is performed by a trained TECHART technician. The system leaves the factory engine management software in place which means it will not affect any of the Porsche diagnostics and engine protection that come from the factory. It can also be removed at any time should you wish to return to stock. TECHART also uses the highest quality materials and fitment matching or beating OEM specs.
