Art of Speed Asia 2014

Art of Speed Asia 2014, which is a Kustom Kulture showcase, was held at Citta Mall, Ara Damansara over two days last June.   




The showcase also has a custom motorcycle area, stage acts, an art gallery curated by Bone Alfie and the District Shop-Gallery with local and international artists, children and family activities which includes Giant Bubble, Tamiya, Hotwheels and Star Wars costumed charity phototaking, a Soapbox Show & Go!, a youth arena featuring skateboard and BMX and graffiti exhibition.

 Other highlights include retailers at the marketplace, vintage and jeans market by PintuMerah and local brand bazaar by Tempatan Fest which in overall features more than 150 brands.
 
Art of Speed Asia 2014 played host to the movers and shakers of the regional Kustom Kulture scene such as Mooneyes Japan, Rocky Auto Japan, Flat 4 Tokyo, Kutsom Kulture Produktion Japan, Speedhunters.com, Rough Crafts Taiwan and Air Runner Custom Paint Studio from Taiwan.
 
The showcase aims to attract 60,000 visitors including Kustom Kulture enthusiasts from Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong, USA and Spain.
 
This year, the event is also supported by Tourism Malaysia.
 
The event is the brainchild of Asep Ahmad Iskandar, who is the managing director of Initium Sdn Bhd - a turnkey event management company.
 
Asep said, “Art of Speed Asia 2014 will be unique as we will not only fly in the icons of the industry but also their vehicles and art works. Fellow enthusiasts will also be able to chat with our special guest in the planned Kustoms & Coffee Talk sessions. All in all, a great interactive day out for all fans and the public, making it a show not to be missed!”
