After Audi have introduce the RS5 TDI concept, AMG powertrain boss Jochen martin is still considering electric turbochargers. Reported by WorldCarFans, they are still investigate to see its benefits.

Audi is expected to introduce e-turbo engine on 2015/2016. e-turbo is a hyrbid turbocharger system. It consist an ultra speed turbine generator and ultra high speed electric air compressor.With this kind of system, it virtually eliminates turbo lag and allow engine downsizing.
