We have post a story about Hennessey Venom GT back in Sept 2011.


In last February, this car have set a new world record for the fastest 2 seaters car; throw the previous record set by Bugatti Veyron into the dust. The Hennessey Venom GT have set a record of 270.49 mph or  435.311 km/h. The record was set at Kennedy Space Center, United States.


To celebrate their achievement, the company have revealed a special edition named "World Fastest Edition" for the price of $1.25 million (USD). The special edition Venom GT will have a special red, white and blue livery (as symbolic of US flag). Unfortunately, CarBuzz reported that all 3 cars have been sold out.
