Reported by Autonews.com, Mercedes have approved the production of CLC Shooting Brake.

The CLC Shooting Brake will be based on Mercedes CLC model. The term Shooting Brake is used to describe a sporty wagons that usually have two long doors.

The CLC Shooting Brake is expected to received a sloping roof and heavily angled tailgate. No details about the engine but the CLC will be heavily influenced by CLS Shooting Brake Concept.

The new model will hit the market on 2013 for US market along with a coupe version.
